Hydroclear

Description:

Hydroclear is a unique self cross linking aromatic waterbased urethane and is used as a laquer / varnish for all types of timber floors including parquet / cork / pine / rimu / and all wood surfaces.

Hydroclear provides exceptional hard wearing properties and water, oil and grease resistance.  Hydroclear's performance exceeds that of conventional solvent borne / oil modified urethanes.

Uses:

Hydroclear can be applied to all types of wood surfaces including furniture and timber floors.  Over cork, parquet, pine, rimu, cedar, etc.  if a stain is required then apply Hydroclear after Stainex waterbased woodstain from Special Finishes.

Drying Times:

For spraying allow 20 minutes between coats and continue every 20 minutes.

Application:

Apply using roller / brush.  when brushing or rolling allow 1 - 2 hours between coats.  Allow 24 - 48 hours for light foot traffic and 5 -7 days for heavy traffic use.  Spray or airless spray for large areas and for continued operation systems.

Packaging / Storage:

Supplied in 1, 5, 10, and 20 litre plastic screw cap containers.  Store in a cool dry place preferably under 25°C.  Avoid freezing.

Heatlh & Saftety:

Use protective clothing.  Keep skin clean - use barrier creams on hands before use.

Warning:

If spraying always use correct OSH approved respirator with organic vapour cartridge and allow adequate through-air in confined spaces.

Clean Up:

Immediately after contact with skin use soap and water.  Eye contact: Immediately flush with copious amounts of water.
