UV Protective Colour Coat

Description:

Colourcoat is a two pack exterior / interior UV protective colour coating designed for over coating Ultrafle flooring, used on roofs, decking, walls, factories and step coatings.  Coloured films have high quantities of ultra violet protective additives and are tough, resilient and non-yellowing with exceptional exterior durability.

Uses:

Colourcoat systems provide a very hard durable and resilient finish with high resistance to a vide range of chemicals / acid rain in tropical countries and are particularly suited to coat over galvanised iron roofs, fibrecement or tile roofs, commercial buildings, factories, schools, apartments, over decks on ships, boats, super yachts and heavy industrial use over Aquepoy floors, and over membrane systems especially Ultraflex, interior or exterior, coating for hi-build acrylic systems, used over Ultraflex on roofs / decks / floors, on steel / timber / plywood, etc.  On ships / boats / trucks / buses / horse floats, etc.

Not Recommended:

Application to damp surfaces.  Immerson,alkalies or solvents.

Handling Precautions:

Solvent and resin fumes can be harmful and can contaminate foodstuffs.  Provide and wear suitable respirator and protective clothing when spraying.

Warning:

Contains Isocyanates.  When sprayed this product may be harmful by inhalation.  Do not breathe vapour or spray.  Avoid contact with skin or eyes.  Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye and face protector including suitable breathing protection such as an air supplied respirator OSH approved when spraying.

Flash Point:

24'C - contents flammable

Gives off vapour.  Keep well away from heat, sparks and flame

Instructions for Use:

Thoroughly mix 4 parts A with 1 part B by volume, apply directly as supplied using mohair roller, allow 8 hours between coats.  Dilute 25 - 40 % for spraying.  Only use Colourcoat solvent or Ultraglaze solvent.

Packaging:

Colourcoat Part A - 4 litres or 20 litres

Colourcoat Part B - 1 litre or 5 litres

All in steel DG approved containers

Pot Life:

25'c 50% relative humidity - 2 hours

Dry Time:

25'C 50% relative humidity

Suface Dry	1 hour
Hard Dry	2 hours
Re-coat	8 - 24 hours

Coverage Rate:

Over Ultraflax	1 or 2 Coats in colour as required	@ 6m2 / litre coverage
Walls	6-8m2 per litre per coat	1 coat minimum 2 Coats Recommended
Floors	4-6m2 per litre per coat	3 coats minimum 2 coats recommended

Notice:

For correct material quantities, divide total area by two (3 coats = 2m2 per litre coverage).

Film Build:

WET	Walls	125 microns (0.005) per coat
	Floors	250 microns (0.010) per  coat
Dry	Walls	50 microns (0.002) per coat
	Floors	100 microns (0.004) per coat

 

Thinning:

Thin 10% for spray application only using Ultraglaze Thinners.

Clean up:
