A premium quality Alkyd Resin High Gloss paint that is ideal for
interior or eterior where a durable finish is demanded. Can
be tinted to any of the BS 5252 colours.
Weatherboard houses or wooden trim - on any type of
construction,eaves, facias and gable ends. Ideal interior,
where a top grade finish is to be specified - bathrooms, kitchens,
ablution areas and on trim such as Scotia, architrave's and
skirtings.
Enamel High Gloss should be applied over Special Finishes' high
opacity Alkyd Undercoat which has had a minimum of 12 hours to
dry.
Timber interior - apply 2 coats of Alkyd Undercoat, leaving a
minimum of 12 hours between coats following normal procedures for
filling nail holes, cracks etc. When dry, lightly sand - then
apply 1 or 2 coats of Special Finishes' premium Enamel High Gloss
to desired colour, leaving a minimum of 12 hours drying between
coats.

An Alkyd resin undercoat possessing outstanding obliteration and
holdout properties, free sanding, minimal brush drag - can be
tinted to a lightened version of eventual colour, if desired.

A premium matt finish, particularly suited to ceilings where a
velvet smooth quality finish is to be specified. In most
cases 2 coats direct on to new plaster or gib-board ceilings is all
that is required. However, some staining may eventually
occure on old or sun-browned gib-board and on plaster to which
Contractors ahve added Retarding Agents such as Casein
Products. If in doubt a pre-coat of Alkyd Sealer is
advised.

A clear non-yellowing single pack abrasion resistant modified
Alkyd resin, that is flexible and moderately heat resistant,
allowing a wide ranging use from floors to table tops. A
minimum 3 coat recommendation on most surfaces such as timber, chip
board, cane, etc., but areas such as flooring grade particle board
and cork may require up to 5 coats to achieve the desired
finish. Always lightly scuff between coats.
Polyurethane is not recommended on vinyl or linoleum. the
first coat on most surfaces is usually thinned up to 15% with Turps
to aid penetration and achieve and even sealing coat.
